Zhuoli Education adheres to the national curriculum of the People’s Republic of China. As stipulated by the Ministry of Education, the PRC national curriculum comprises mandatory core subject courses spanning the country’s nine-year compulsory education requirement for students aged 6 to 15. Core subjects primarily include Chinese, Mathematics, English, Moral and Legal Education, Chinese and World History, Geography, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Sports and Health, Art, and Labor. The PRC national curriculum is designed to cultivate students’ abilities and qualitiescomprehensively, mainly focusing on mastering basic subject knowledge and understanding while also encouraging diversity and balance in development. Moreover, the PRC national curriculum is intended to provide a good foundation for those pursuing a secondary education or higher.

As a private education group, Zhuoli has the flexibility to offer additional school-based curricula. These are designed to complement the PRC national curriculum, providing a more comprehensive education. Our instruction materials and teaching methods, honed and developed throughout our Group’s history, are used to create supplementary courses. These courses aim to elevate our students’ foundational abilities in core subjects as well as music, fine arts, and sports.

Extracurricular programs are a cornerstone of Zhuoli’scommitment to personalized education. Each of our schools offers a rich and diverse selection of electives that allow our students to not only explore their interests but also develop practical skills. These generally fall into one of the following categories: scientific interest, cross-cultural learning, daily life skills, personal and moral learning, and creative learning.

Zhuoli firmly believes that sports are not just about physical fitness, but an essential component of personalized education. They teach students the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, perseverance, and courage. We offer various extracurricular athletic programs, including but not limited to baseball, basketball, football, track and field, fencing, and cheerleading. Our school calendar includes campus and interschool Olympics as well as municipal, provincial, and national-level competitions.
